This particular mom told us she hadn’t done family photos for a long time and decided to schedule a mother daughter photoshoot to capture this time with her ten-year-old daughter. We always joke that the time to take photos is while the kids still like us parents, but the truth is that it’s so important to take family photos on a regular basis all through your children’s growing up. We divided our time during this mother daughter photoshoot between our studio (for some more formal portraits) and the downtown Mount Clemens area for some more laidback, casual shots. Splitting the session up between the studio and a location of your choice is a great way to go, as it provides a nice variety of photo styles. We had a great time with this mother daughter duo and loved seeing their sweet relationship.
